Photography, Me and my daughter

  • My best hobby is photography.

I do love to capture the moments. I don’t like capturing the people in portraits, but I love to capture their moments. It gives life to the photograph. It keeps us reminding the exact moment. It tells us what happened on this very moment.

I kept capturing the moments and then when my daughter was around, I forgot my most liked hobby!

Sad.. I missed her moments as I lived that very moment with my daughter. I forget to capture her moments as I was enjoying that moment. In a way I feel I am a bad mother, but I spent my entire motherhood with her. I am not telling that I am that bad where I do not have any pictures of my daughter, but I missed the most adorable movements of her.

But eventually, I noticed, when I was taking photos, she became my model. She was fantastic. Then eventually she became my photographer! She started to take up the same hobby as I am. She brings my old camera and tried to capture the same moments which I was capturing.

Then I thought to myself, I am not that bad, I have given my kid a great hobby. Her creative mind waken up, she looks at the nature like an artist, she started loving the flowers and to talk with them, asking them to smile, as then she can capture the smile of the flowers.

I still live the moment looking at my creation. She still make me forget my hobby, but keep me busy looking at her. She is my photographer, my new hobby!

I think…

I should start writing a post…

I think…

What should I write about…

I think…

Its Me…

I think…

It will break the silence…of my space…

I feel I am bored these days…

I feel I should do something to break it…

What should I do…

I should start writing…

Yes…

It should be me…

Yes…we all should start to express ourselves…

So, I think…

It is time…!

To write about us…!

Our little baby girl

•January 10, 2013 • 5 Comments

My darling baby girl…

You mean the world to me…and your daddy…

The tiny feet and toes

Those little fingers…

Oh…

Those are lovely…like a rose bud…

So smooth…

We are so lucky to have a baby like you…

As we just celebrated your first year birthday…

We felt very proud…

The way you are smiling…

The way you are walking…

The way you are talking…

You are such an adorable kid to have…

Love you baby…than anything in this world…

Secret of being a professional wildlife photographer…

•August 8, 2012 • 2 Comments

First and most important – The passion of taking photographs…the likeness to be a photographer… If you like framing outdoor activities…with animals around you…then there you are…the passion is there… That’s all what you need to start the profession…the best secret…the best tip…

You should start using your DSLR camera. This is the best way for you to frame your shot as you desire. Even though the preferred camera to be is a DSLR, you can take nice photos using your phone camera or a point and shoot camera…that is up to you. But, the second best secret is to have a DSLR camera…where you have the flexibility to frame the shot.

The image should be able to give the feeling to the viewer…the feeling you had at the time you were taking the shot…the way the environment was.

Use the best lens with correct camera settings… You have to be familiarizing with the DSLR camera settings and know how to apply the settings to match the scene.

Mmm…do you have a tripod…? Use it…that is a best tool to catch the picture without shaking your shot. Setting the shutter speed to nearly one minute…you have to keep it steady till the shot been taken from the camera. Can you hold it without shaking…? No right…? You will be glad if you capture the same using a tripod…trust me…

Focus the subject’s eye…you will get a great shot.

Remember…you need to be patient till the right time… If you are in a rush…that is not the right time to take a good wild life photo…

Research the best places and experiment the techniques…you will go on the right path… To start wild life photography…you don’t need to go anywhere else…it can be your own backyard…your own pet…or may be the playful little squirrels on your front tree… Try from different angles…vary your lenses…the depth of field. Remember to check on the lighting…

These tips might be technical…but whenever you shoot…do not depend your skills on technical aspects of a camera…use your excitement…the greedy feel you have in photo shooting in wild…be wild…

Happy shooting in wild life…

Being a career guider…

How you will feel if you have selected as one of the career guider from you company and if you are the person behind most of the hiring they will do? And what if you are the person foundation for the success of these newly hired people?

You will feel so peaceful inside your mind and your soul will relax being a helpful person to this world…to humanity…to someone who is seeking guidance…support…knowledge…

It will give a fun time…to enjoy with fresh people…who just completed their university studies… New ideas…new thoughts…it is completely a new world. You will listen to them…you will correct them…you will enhance those ideas…

I am writing this as I just wanted to share some experience I had when driving the Rigor program for QA batches.

You will take them on the path…

You will teach them…and will steer them on how to apply what they learned…

You need to listen to them…very carefully…and understand them…

You have to argue with them…with facts…of course…

Sometimes they will come to you with issues…matters…problems…

When it is a problem…oh it’s so scary…

But…you will prop up them without sitting on the fence…their problem will automatically become yours…you will defend them…you will lend you hand to find solutions…

Finally…when they reach their career goals…you will feel so happy…so nice inside…

You will relax…you will think that you did something good to people…

This happiness will double if you had a chance to fight for them…to win their rights…to take them to success…

It will be even more…when you see them succeed…and when they win the world…when they show their talents…

Of course people…this is a volunteer work…you will enjoy being one of them…

I really enjoyed…

You will too…

Full of busy with her…
Amma…
I now know…
How you felt when we born…how you did all these…
This is for you amma…

Wow…no words enough to express the joy…

I was looking at the match via cricinfo and it showed as 107/8 and was quite disappointed. After sometime, I saw the scoreboard and was thrilled. Oh my…it showed as 225/8…wow…no words…

I stopped all my work…refresh refresh…my mind was racing…

Mathews…and Malinga…in the field of cricket war…keeping the best ever 9th wicket partnership… What a wonder came true…

Oh no…Malinga run out when one run away… Sad… 239/9. Only one wicket was remaining…

“Will they be able…yes yes…they can…calm down…they will. Let them beat….only one run…but still…only ONE wicket… :(” I was half dead…

Here came the last wicket owner…Murali… 🙂 “Common Murali…” my mind said…

Again…war started…

Common…common… my heart beat was so fast… Cricinfo shows…

Clarke to Mathews, no run
Clarke to Mathews, no run
Over…
Watson to Muralitharan, no run

My heart was restless…

What is going on…no run… No its ok…there are balls remaining…

Again refreshed the Cricinfo…

“show show…common refresh fast…” my mind said…

Watson to Muralitharan, FOUR

Oh my…we won we won…Oh we won…

Thanks Mathews, Malinga and Murali…and all in the team…What a nice match…

It was a magic moment…so glad…wow…
